No garden should be without any hardy Cyclamen   

 Cyclamen tubers do best in drier sites in lighter soils with some humus material or leafmould. Though initially quite expensive (they may be 3-4 years old already) they can be expected to live many years and the autumn flowering forms can reach dinner plate size and a great age. They are in leaf through all the winter and spring months so do take the attractive foliage into account and aim for a varied green tapestry.   Cyclamen coum flowers with its rounded edged foliage in the early spring, C. hederifolium flowers in the early autumn with its ivy leafed foliage appearing later.
