Eucomis comosa

Variable in flower colour, ranging from pale green through to pink and burgundy, some with deeply coloured stems, usually reaching 36" tall late August to October flowering. They need a sunny spot planted 15" apart and are very attractive to hoverflies, butterflies and bees. Lasting weeks in water when cut.
