Leucojum vernum

A bulbous perenial that is native to Southern and Eastern Europe. Green tipped white bells flowering over dark green glossy strap shaped leaves in February / March to 7". Excellent for a border, near water or naturalized in grass.

Planting instructions

Difficult to establish as a "dry" bulb but which doesn't seem to mind being moved "in the green". For cool humus rich and possibly even damp soil in some shade. Plant 6" apart, 4" deep and allow to clump up.
