Lilium henryii

A species with soft clear orange with dark chocolate speckling. Widely branched (allow 18” spacing) and strongly stem rooting so plant deeply. 40” tall. July / August flowering.

Lilies need moist but well drained soils, deep planting with lots of good compost and half sun. Allow 8” between bulbs in the garden, or cram 3 in a deep heavy 15” diameter planter.
