Tuberous bulbs from Southern Africa with tendril like extensions to the ends of the leaves by which they climb hold themselves up. They are not hardy and need dry conditions above 5° C in winter. Like shoals of little Chinese lanterns in orange-yellow produced in July / August. Late to emerge and rapidly growing in warm humid conditions. Three bulbs would fit in a 12” pot.
