The Prussian-blue flowers piercing through the cold ground ahead of their leaves.

These plants hail from the Black Sea area and as a consequence are terribly hardy.They produce their blue flowers in March/April to a height of 6" (15cm).

Planting instructions

Easy, especially in light sandy soils. Plant in spring light but summer shade 4" (10cm) deep and 2"-3" (5-7cm) apart.
