White with raspberry red markings, a double petalled beauty.

The variagated foliage is distinctive for a start, silvery green with white edging, the flowers are held on long stems and a glistening white with raspberry red colours folded into the mix. The head is full of petals, so probably ought not be planted in really windy conditions. May flowering 18" (45cm) tall.

Black Hero or Flaming Spring Green.

Planting instructions

Avoid really windy sites with heavy headed tulips. Plant 5" (12cm) deep and 5" (12cm) apart in reasonably good soil in spring sunshine. Compliment them with different coloured tulips perhaps?
