T. Flaming Purissima was developed from T. fosteriana found in the mountains of C Asia.  An eye-catching flower, it is creamy coloured at the base, with a deepening rosy-pink to the top of the petals, and a deeper raspberry tint inside.  Spectacular in a drift, flowering in March - April for 3 weeks at 14"  (35cm) tall and like the other Fosterianas, it has a good strong stem making it good for the border as well in flower arrangements. These large beautifully shaped flowers stand out from a distance.

Planting instructions

Plant in drifts for a spectacular display planted 62 (15cm) deep and 5" (12cm) apart in a reasonably sunny site, out of strong wind but in at least half sun.
